You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Singles Holiday Mantra

Singles Holiday Mantra

Holiday Mantra for the single adult:

  • I can (pretty much) do whatever I want, whenever I want. This is actually all year round, and it always, always tops the list.

  • I can spend Christmas with whoever I dang well please.

  • I can travel. Anywhere. Anytime.

  • I don’t have to buy any super thoughtful elaborate romantic special gifts for any special someone.

  • I can spend all that extra money on myself instead. (Unless I’m feeling super holy and want to give it away or something.)

  • I don’t have to smile and pretend to like my gift from my significant other and then proceed to wear it out in public.

  • I can spend New Years with MY friends. AND I can kiss whoever I want at midnight. (As long as they consent okayyy.)

  • I can eat as many sugary things as I can find  because it don’t even matta.

  • I can relax and chill and be truly thankful for this season of singleness, and all the freedom it gives.

  • My life is good, and singleness is a gift.
